I heard about Yardley Tattoo from my brother who lives in Northeast Philly. I must say that the shop is nice and homely and the artist there are friendly. I’ve been honored to deal with the owner Max as my artist and wow what a great guy. He is knowledgeable and talented but also genuinely honest with his opinions about the tattoo and placement of them. I live in Virginia and happily drive 3 hours to visit him and his shop.

The entire experience was amazing start to finish. Lisa was accommodating and responsive with helping me get my appointment scheduled despite some difficulties on my end. The shop atmosphere was very positive and fun to be a part of, with both friendly staff and clients. And Max was a pleasure to work with for my tattoo, and is just a genuinely good dude - and perhaps most importantly, the final product was a 10/10. Looking forward to coming back!

I love Yardley tattoo!! Shop is clean with fun atmosphere. Good conversation, good people. Comfy bed for laying for hours. I saw Luiza for my 3rd nice sized tattoo. Amazing artist!! The compliments are constant on her work!! And most importantly I love my tattoos!!! 🥰 I’ll be back soon!!

This is a strong recommendation to check in with Lisa and the amazing staff at Yardley Tattoo. Got some great work done by Taylor and I was inspired to share my experience. I cannot express how great every level of service and communication was with Yardley Tattoo. My initial email request to have a consultation with Taylor was quickly answered by Lisa and was scheduled at a convenient time. I provided a visual example of my tattoo's general theme and offered further description of what I wanted. They completely understood my intentions, discussed an agreeable cost and scheduled my appointment to get my tattoo in a very prompt manner. I also received several notifications as my appointment approached, including an appointment confirmation text 2 days out, a second test reminder one day out, and even a test notice on the day of my appointment. When my day came, I was happy to arrive to a very clean environment with a friendly staff in an eclectic environment (with great music playing). Even though I arrived 15 minutes early my artist was there and prepared to get down to business. Taylor had my tattoo concept in an app on her iPad which allowed her to make small tweaks to my design instantly and my tattoo stencil was ready in no time. Taylor was using a newer model tattoo gun which was much quieter than a traditional coil gun, making the sound closer to soothing rather than overwhelming or annoying. And the final product was EXACTLY what I walked in the door wanting to get. Thank you to Taylor and Lisa for an awesome tattoo and a first class professional experience. I'll be back!

I have gotten quite a few tattoos at Yardly Tattoo and I have absolutely loved my experiences at Yardley and with Luiza! From the moment I walked in, the shop had a great vibe, it was spotlessly clean, welcoming, and super friendly. Everyone there made me feel comfortable and at ease, which made the whole process even better. Recently Luiza did an amazing job on my American Traditional Pokémon-themed sleeve. She really listened to what I wanted, was patient with all my ideas, and brought it to life exactly how I hoped, and even better! Her talent, passion and expertise show in every piece she creates. The whole team at Yardley Tattoo is professional and really cares about their clients. If you’re looking for a talented artist and a great shop experience, I highly recommend Yardley Tattoo, especially Luiza! I’ll definitely be back for more!
